Food prices are high, and we know we need more people growing more food for our communities. Our food needs to be accessible and affordable and also needs to be produced in a way that mitigates, and can respond to, climate change.
How can our growers produce affordable food while being able to pay themselves a fair wage? How can we produce food at scale while repairing the degradation of our lands? How can we collaborate to create economic opportunities for our communities? We will explore these questions (and more!) in our four part series this spring.
Workshops will be all day events with morning tea and lunch included.
Dates are November: Sat 4th, Sat 11th, Sat 19th, and Sat 26th
Cost sliding scale: $130-$300 (suggested $250).
