Collective Farming Opportunity - Waiuku, Auckland
General Description of Land: Collective farming is a type of agricultural production in which multiple farmers run their holdings as a joint enterprise. We currently have three farmers growing vegetables on our farm in Waiuku. One is leaving at the end of June so we have room for another.
Our main principle is one of sharing - knowledge, tools and time, where each producer helps the other yet retains their own production area. Produce can be marketed separately or collectively under our Permakai brand.
We are certified organic. This places certain restrictions on the type of seeds you may grow and the management practices you may follow.
This opportunity would suit both the experienced growers and those starting out.
