Current Practices: Interested in biodiversity, regenerative, no dig organic gardening. We are a husband and wife team, my husband is a scientist and I am a health professional. We would be very interested if anyone wants to undertake science based trails to research growing methods. We also have a small biochar kiln that would be available for use. Land has been in my family for 30 years, and has been well cared for, minimal if no use of artificial sprays and fertilizer over this time.

Short-term goal or vision for land: We are land owners looking to start a no dig organic vegetable market garden, but are looking for some young people whom would like the opportunity to start and run the growing side, but maybe can't afford land.

Long-term goal or vision for land: I would like the land to be used for producing food. We already have a fabulous big vegetable garden. I am interested in making the area beautiful as well as functioning as efficiently as possible. Also having berry bushes and fruit and nut trees. Would love to work with someone who is also good at garden design. The land has an amazing view and it would be a pleasure to work in this area. There is already a water line down the fence, but we currently don't have a wash shed or anything like that.

Known environmental hazards: Flat ground on top of hill, no risk of flooding, well sheltered, but do get seasonal high winds that can and has dropped trees, but this can be mitigated with good placement of beds, sheds, and equipment.

Current residents living on property: Intermittent.

Water rights to these sources: Property has a water tank with good daily water supply from Halcombe supply.

Preferred Agriculture Products: Diversified vegetable, and berries, orchard, mushroom production.

Soil Details: Good top soil on top of clay base.
